We are a small, friendly, family-led trust who manage the care and support of this one individual. We look for potential, personality, a willingness to learn, and a driving licence.The job is based in Churchill, North Somerset, but the majority of our existing staff team live in Bristol, half an hour's drive away.Qualifications are not so important as motivation and interest. We are looking for special people who are perceptive, able to empathize, have quick intelligence, and can communicate well with others. Understanding the importance of body language, tone of voice, etc., is essential. A team player who is committed to working in a person-centred way is required.The gentleman has 24-hour support, and there are always 2 members of the team on duty. The established team is very experienced, so you would not be working in isolation.Daily duties and responsibilities include:Providing support and communicating about daily routines.Providing support and encouragement with personal care, such as dressing and personal hygiene.Preparation of meals.Ensuring the home is clean and tidy.Support with medication.Support with outdoor excursions/visits into the local community.We can offer full-time and part-time post contracts (at £9.69 per hour) and flexible posts (at £8.91 per hour) where you choose your hours to fit in with our rota pattern. People often start on the 'flexi' rate and then decide when they want to progress to permanent staff.Pro Rata £20,155: (£8.91-£9.69 per hour) Holidays and sick pay are part of the contract; Trust contribution to your pension is 4%, which is 1% more than the usual minimum.Looking forward to hearing from you.Reference ID: GC1221Part-time hours: 20-40 per week.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent.Salary: £14,743.00-£25,086.00 per year.COVID-19 considerations:Sanitisation, disinfection or cleaning procedures in place.
