The Graduate Research School is seeking a highly motivated, people-oriented, and experienced administrator and personal assistant to cover a period of parental leave. The position requires a high level of administrative support for the School, and personal assistance to the Dean and Manager of the Graduate Research School.
This role includes front-of-office responsibilities for the Graduate Research School (GRS) and is a key point of contact for academic and administrative staff across the University. The role works in partnership with a number of teams and roles and requires flexibility and the ability to integrate individual duties with the work of others to achieve the University's strategic goals.

The ability to prioritise work, give attention to detail, and be highly organised is a key component to being successful in this position. The successful candidate will have advanced administrative and communication skills, together with a good working knowledge of the Office 365 suite and Sharepoint. Previous working knowledge of AUT systems such as Arion and AUTOne is desirable.
Previous knowledge and experience in tertiary education administration, particularly at the postgraduate level is desirable;
Extremely organised and efficient and is an innovative problem solver who communicates exceptionally at all levels;
A team player who takes initiative, is proactive, and can work autonomously as well as part of a team;
Flexible and cooperative with a strong work ethic

Salary Range: $60,902 - $69,430 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
