As a Personal Assistant , you'll cultivate vital connections across the NZ Transport Agency - Waka Kotahi (NZTA). Supporting two senior leaders, we are looking for an efficient and organised Personal Assistant who can hit the ground running and make their mark. Our ideal candidate would be proficient in or eager to learn te reo Maori, as they will be attending meetings and taking minutes where te reo Maori is spoken.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant.
Experience in diary and email management.
Collaborative team skills and a natural at fostering and building relationships.
A proven use of initiative and experience in planning, prioritising, and working under pressure.
Discreet and tactful when dealing with confidential, commercially sensitive, and personal work-related information.
Set high standards including accuracy, attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Continuous improvement mindset with experience looking for and implementing business process improvement.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office packages.
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
