If so, we are seeking an experienced personal assistant to join us and support our busy Perioperative Service Manager and Anaesthetic Technician Service Manager who ensure integrated care across the full patient pathway, before, during and after their surgery.Mo te tunga | About the rolePersonal Assistant to:Perioperative Service ManagerThis role supports the Perioperative Service Manager and Anaesthetic Technician Service Manager on the Christchurch Campus, ensuring efficient communications and adherence to Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora policies, processes, and tools.This includes proactive issues management and relationship management to enable the achievement of the Perioperative Service and Anaesthetic Technician Service Managers' priorities and business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Support the managers to perform their roles effectively, anticipating their needs.Engage strong interpersonal relationship skills including being able to seamlessly balance courtesy and assertiveness in professional communications.Utilise your good organisational skills when managing calendars, calls, and messages, assisting managers with organising and prioritising their work, including ensuring time frames are met for urgent assignments.Actively manage and navigate future milestones across daily, weekly, and monthly horizons.Ensure communications are triaged and managed effectively.Maintain an effective information and data processing, filing, retrieval, and management system.Deliver on disparate tasks including adjusting to accommodate things urgent or unexpected.Keep abreast of technology.Essential Qualifications and Experience:Proven experience as a personal assistant to a senior manager.Intermediate/Advanced user of Outlook Mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Demonstrated strong customer focus.Experienced minute taker.Ability to accurately transcribe (digital dictation).Well-informed, and systems/internet savvy.Proven experience at embracing new skills and supporting others to succeed.Experience with rostering and travel booking systems.Desired Qualifications and Experience:Previous experience in the health sector.Experienced in using project management software.Qualification in people management or business/information processes."Ko nga tangata, te matua mahi - Putting people at the heart of all we do"We are committed to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its principles by ensuring our partnership with Maori are at the forefront of all our conversations.
