Permanent, Full Time 6-12Yr Montessori Teacher (Mma1)

Wa Ora Montessori School is an Area School based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, catering for approximately 300 children and is the only Montessori School in New Zealand that nurtures the child from 0 to 18 years. We are a community-based school with close connections to our whanau (families).
Lower Hutt is just 30 minutes from Wellington City (the capital city of New Zealand) and is close to bush walks, beaches, a great cultural scene, and some of the world's best restaurants, cafes, and coffee.
Position Overview We are looking for a face-to-face Montessori trained 6-12 teacher with experience teaching at the 6-9 level (Yr1-4) to join our friendly and collaborative staffing team. You will be enthusiastic, motivated, committed to the highest quality of Montessori education, and love sparking the imagination and excitement of this age group.
Minimum Requirements Applicants must have New Zealand teacher registration.
A valid work visa would be desirable, however not a requirement.
Experience, willingness, and ability to take part in instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.
