About the role Grace Hospital is looking for an experienced Perioperative Services Manager to lead and develop our clinical functions.
This is essential to uphold our standing as the first choice for patients and consultants, as well as being a dynamic employer within the Bay of Plenty.
As a member of the Senior Management Team you will contribute to the strategic activities of the Hospital.
Your skills will include risk management, future forecasting in regard to patient and resource requirements.
To be successful you will have: A current NZ Registered Nurse qualification with a current APC.
A PG diploma (essential).
At least 5 years surgical theatre experience.
Proven experience leading large clinical teams in perioperative service delivery (3 years +).
Experience leading teams through change management.
The ability to assist with clinical activities (if required).
Strong interpersonal skills – communicating, both orally and written, establishing rapport.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Skills that not only meet professional requirements, but also encompass elements of fun and enjoyment in the workplace.
