Mo te turanga / About the role As a Registered Nurse you will: Demonstrate safe, quality nursing practice that is evidence-based and reflects best practice. Assess, formulate, and plan nursing care in an acute inpatient mental health care setting. Engage in contemporary practice with an equity focus to achieve improved outcomes for Maori accessing care. Possess excellent interpersonal skills with a strong client focus, flexible approach, and ability to remain calm under pressure. You must be a New Zealand Registered Nurse eligible to work in Mental Health and have a current APC. Postgraduate experience in an acute mental health setting is desirable; however, consideration will be given to applicants with no experience who would like to begin a career in mental health nursing.
