Perioperative Nurse Educator & Rn Theatre

PERIOPERATIVE EDUCATOR (0.3FTE) and RN THEATRE (0.7 FTE) This role has a start date in February 2025, which gives you the opportunity to have a longer Christmas Break!
THE PURPOSE To support the facilitating of Theatre team professional development.
THE ROLE We are looking into future growth with the planning of our hospital extension well into development. As a part of our expansion planning, we are also considering how we can best develop our current team, successfully support graduate theatre nurses, and support new to NZ nurses on our staff.
The make-up of this role will initially be a combination of 0.3 FTE Education and 0.7 FTE RN Theatre. The role benefits from being supported by both the Quality and Theatre teams, which makes it possible for someone who is new to education to step into the role.

The following are also some characteristics that you have:
Understanding of the nuances of a private hospital.Comfortable with change.See yourself as a "life-long learner."Solid current theatre experience.You may possibly have had some adult education training or completed Post Graduate papers.
