People Partner

The Company is in search of a People Partner to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing tactical and operational people advice and support within designated business groups, as well as across the organization as needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the future direction of the organization by offering high-quality people advice to operational leaders, building strong relationships, and ensuring the promotion of people initiatives in line with the overall people strategy. Compliance with people-related policies and legal requirements is a key aspect of the role, as is the ability to problem-solve and recommend solutions based on HR experience. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in HR or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, and a proven track record in HR/ER disciplines, particularly in large organizations with active unions.As a People Partner, you will be part of a passionate team that is committed to making a real and positive impact on people's lives. The role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and delivering outcomes. The candidate should be adept at managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and have a working knowledge of current NZ employment law and HR practices.
