The Role: The People Operations Business Partner is at the heart of our people-first culture, acting as a strategic advisor and operational expert. This three day a week position is responsible for cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment while managing the full employee lifecycle. The Business Partner drives effectiveness in HR practices, balancing compliance requirements with innovative and modern approaches to enhance the overall employee experience and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities: Partner with leaders to understand business goals, and provide HR guidance and support to enable achievement of those goals, while fostering a people-first culture. Collaborate with functional leaders to develop and implement effective talent management strategies, including workforce planning, talent acquisition and performance management, managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle processes. Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to drive positive change, while keeping the employee experience at the forefront. Administer payroll processes and our Employee Stock Options Programme, including stakeholder communication, documentation management, and new employee training. Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with leadership, employees, and external HR partners across New Zealand, Philippines, and the USA. Manage employment-related legal matters, liaising with approved employment law specialists to ensure compliance and positive resolutions. Own People Operations controls, policies and procedures, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring compliance for annual SOC2 audits. Continuously seek out opportunities to improve HR practices and processes to increase effectiveness. Support training and development sessions for managers and employees to build employee capabilities and foster an environment of continuous growth and improvement. Plan and execute company-wide events and initiatives to foster a positive organisational culture. About You: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. Strategic mindset and strong business acumen to align HR initiatives with FileInvite's goals. Demonstrated experience in talent management, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and performance management, with a modern and collaborative approach. Ideally, you have prior experience working for a tech-startup and understand the relevant challenges and opportunities within a SaaS environment. You are a skilled presenter and enjoy conducting engaging training sessions for managers and employees. Passion for creating an inclusive, people-centric work environment where all employees feel valued and empowered. 3-5 years of experience as an HR/People Operations Business Partner, with a track record of driving positive change.
