Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment) South Link Management Services provides a variety of services to the entities under the South Link Education Trust Board, including Financial, Information Technology, Marketing and Communications, and People and Culture.
The People and Culture team is responsible for the strategic and operational support that identifies and implements opportunities to grow and develop our people to create a positive and enviable workplace culture.
This role is primarily focused on human resources administration and would suit someone with a good eye for detail, as it also performs an important payroll function.
This is a Dunedin-based role reporting to the People and Culture Manager.
This position will cover the full range of duties including assistance with recruitment processes, employee onboarding, performance management processes, maintenance of employee records, regular payroll administration, and other related tasks to enable the effective management of our staff.
They will also provide general support to the People and Culture Manager.
Skills/knowledge preferred for this role: Previous experience in dealing with HR administration matters Knowledge gained through previous New Zealand payroll experience, with a minimum of two years' experience in payroll operations from start to finish payroll processing is preferred.
Ability to speak and write clearly, conveying essential information without unnecessary complexity Comprehensive knowledge and experience of a computer-based payroll system and HR information system is preferred.
