Trans-Tasman opportunity Permanent Full-time position Locations- Sydney, Australia or Wellington, New Zealand ABOUT THE ROLE As our People & Culture Coordinator, you'll assist with various administrative tasks throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll support, and HR systems management. You'll need to build trust, ensure confidentiality, and manage stakeholder relationships. Your efforts will help foster a welcoming and engaging workplace, where everyone thrives. This position is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic environment and aims to advance their HR career. Key responsibilities will include: Provide first-level HR advice and guidance on policies and procedures. Handling employee onboarding and offboarding, including preparing employment contracts, and other lifecycle-related letters including managing pre-employment checks. Manage HR records and systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Managing the P&C Inbox: Responding and directing HR inquiries. Handling all HR-related inquiries with professionalism and discretion. Assisting the P&C team with both cyclical and ad hoc projects and reporting. Contribute to health and safety initiatives within the organisation and champion process improvements within HR operations. ABOUT YOU 2-3 years experience in a similar HR role Knowledge of Fair work, NES, and employment laws in Australia and New Zealand Ability to work to timeframes, managing competing demands and priorities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to learn new systems High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proactive and solutions-driven with a positive attitude.
