Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partnering Manager and working within a dedicated team of generalists, your key focus will be on partnering with the business providing HR solutions and services that drive business results, enhance performance, ensure compliance with regulations and legislation, and promote a safe and positive workplace culture.
Based at our vibrant Commercial Bay office, you will manage a diverse portfolio focusing on our Operations teams; Capital Projects, Global Supply Chain, Auckland Winery and work closely with our Operations P&C Business Partner to support our winemaking and viticulture teams in NZ and AU.
The role will involve travel to our winery in West Auckland, offering you the chance to work in a unique environment.
The rolePeople & Culture Advisory: Provide proactive HR support to managers within your portfolio, offering guidance on all P&C activities in alignment with current employment law, regulations, and business requirements.Generalist HR Activities: Oversee recruitment, reporting, WHS, remuneration, employee relations, and initiatives like DE&I, wellbeing, and change management.Employee Relations & Coaching: Provide coaching and support to managers in navigating employee relations processes, from performance improvement plans to disciplinary procedures.Learning & Development Support: Assist in the creation and facilitation of training programs and workshops, supporting continuous employee development and organisational growth.Employee Wellbeing & Engagement: Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaged workplace environment, helping to implement wellbeing initiatives and drive employee engagement.HR Administration & Coordination: Manage tasks such as posting job ads, creating employment offers, setting up assessment profiles, conducting background checks, benefits administration, and reporting/data analysis, all in support of broader P&C operations.About youWe are seeking a proactive and driven People & Culture professional with hands-on experience who is eager to learn and grow.
You will be a critical thinker with a commercial mindset, able to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
