Job Description:Recruitment Opportunity: Learning & Development Specialist (Fixed-term) Department OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Learning & Development Team as a Specialist, Learning & Development. Learning & Development is an area where opportunity meets potential and being part of the growth and development of our people makes this role enormously rewarding.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Learning & Development, a major component of the role will be facilitating the OASIS programme; ensuring a positive relationship with local schools and a positive experience for the students who are gaining experience with us.
As well as OASIS, this role will play a key part in the delivery of Training projects. Whether that be updating training materials or helping implement/improve our training processes; this is a fantastic opportunity to support some important initiatives that will help drive better outcomes for the Learning and Development Department and the people in our restaurants.

DutiesInitiative, exceptional organisational ability, impeccable communication skills and sound operational experience are pre-requisites to your success. It is essential that you have previous McDonald's restaurant experience.
This role is Auckland based although some domestic travel will be required.
The fast paced and continuous nature of our business demands flexibility, a "can do" approach and an ability to work in an integrated cross functional manner with other team members, other departments, and key customers.
You will have high levels of accountability and be able to take responsibility for agreed outcomes and objectives. Your written and verbal communication skills will need to be finely tuned, including your capability to effectively present to significant groups of people.
