About the role As a People Business Partner reporting to our Senior People Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in aligning our People and Capability strategy with LPC's strategic direction. Your primary objectives will be to foster key stakeholder relationships, challenge the status quo, and provide well informed advice that builds trust across the business. You'll support the full range of people service delivery whilst driving continuous improvement. About you You'll be responsible for partnering with nominated business units to provide generalist HR support, as well as provide guidance on employment relations and all aspects of the employee life cycle. You will support the negotiation of Collective Employment Agreements in an interest-based manner and assist in organisational development activities and new initiatives. You will be joining a fun, tight-knit and high-performing People and Capability team and will bring a great sense of humour along with your knowledge and experience. Skills and Experience Previous experience in a business partner role Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, or relevant experience in similar roles Proven success in supporting change and driving continuous improvement Ability to collaborate with leaders, employees, unions and other stakeholders Sound expertise in HR strategies and New Zealand employment legislation Ability to use sound People/HR expertise to generate, evaluate and act on strategic options and opportunities In-depth experience in Employment Relations, in particular investigations Previous experience working in a unionised environment would be desirable The People and Capability team are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running, with support from the whole team.
