About the role
Reporting to the People, Culture and Safety Lead and as part of a close-knit team, this newly created role will play a critical part in maintaining the infrastructure that supports their " people and safety first " culture. Engaging the hearts and minds of their people, there is a focus on enhancing systems, processes and behaviours.
This varied role will include essential administrative and compliance coordination, human resources operations support, and general admin support to the CEO. This hands-on role with a mix of HR, safety, and operational support will expose you to all areas of the business, working with a manager who will support your growth.
Key Responsibilities include:
Organise and coordinate training for construction site teams, including logistics, communication, and material preparation.
Maintain and develop the HRIS, and process automation to administer the entire employee lifecycle, including safety and project systems.
Assist in drafting and distributing safety information to keep a constant flow of communication between the people and site teams to support safety and wellbeing initiatives.
Compile and prepare reports on safety performance metrics.
Coordination and admin support for the People team, and diary management as required for the CEO – including scheduling meetings and coordinating events.
About you
Do you have experience in a safety, HR Administration or project coordination role ideally within the construction industry? A self-starter you are known for your organisational skills, accuracy with data and an eye for detail. Your customer-focused approach and ability to take ownership is key, positive and willing to pitch in to support the team.
An effective communicator you can build rapport with a diverse audience, with a professional yet down-to-earth approach. Technology savvy, you know your way around the MS Office suite, and enjoy working in a variety of systems including design tools to create content.
In a nutshell, you are known for your energy and drive, with a collaborative and team-focused approach.
