In the role you will partner directly with leaders across the business where you will foster strong relationships while quickly instilling trust with stakeholders. This is a dynamic role, where no two days are the same, so we are looking for a person who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.In this role you will:Provide advice and guidance on core human resource functions including (but not limited to): employment relations, employee experience, change management, performance management, remuneration, wellbeing, reporting and capability.Proactively work with managers to manage and resolve employment relationship issues.Ensure compliance with Hohepa's HR policies and procedures, and legal requirements by helping people leaders understand their people risks and how to effectively manage them.Contribute to the development of initiatives and improvements to people practices, policies and procedures.Cultivate a culture of engagement and a healthy workplace by contributing to the management of the employee engagement survey and performance management process.Have the opportunity to lead, with support, the effective implementation of people projects.Provide support in all stages of the recruitment lifecycle.Maintain our HRIS (Bamboo HR), employee records and documents.This role is 32 - 40 hours per week, and we're open to discussing flexible employment practices, including partial working from home and adaptive working hours.Click the link below to view the position description/or visit the job advert on our career page:People and Capability Advisor PDMinimum Requirements:You will have a tertiary qualification in human resources, business or social sciences, or equivalent experience and knowledge.You will have a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in a generalist HR role.You will have superb interpersonal and communication skills and will be comfortable advising and supporting managers.Your proactive and naturally positive approach will be complemented by your open communication style.You will be excited to take on a new challenge that utilises your existing skill set while also thriving in an environment that encourages growth and career development.You will have demonstrated energy, resilience, and the capacity to bring creative ideas to the table.Applications will close on 17th November 2024; we will review all applications after the close date.Applicants must have a NZ full driver's licence and ability to work in New Zealand.Please note that the 90-day trial period will apply to any successful applicant who hasn't previously worked for Hohepa Canterbury.
