This business unit is a newly created tier 1 support model to deliver a strong team first experience, with fantastic opportunities for growth within the wider Woolworths New Zealand People Team.About the Role | Mo te TurangaJoining the team is a great opportunity to provide high-quality People Advisory services to Woolworths Business Units and Group Functions, make a real difference to the team on the ground and work with a great bunch of people.You will also be responsible for:Delivery of ongoing HR related advice, coaching and support to team across Woolworths NZAdministering centralised time and attendance through close partnership with Leadership Teams and People Team squads to deliver pay confidence and compliance.Providing policy interpretation and procedural guidance on pay and benefitsEnsuring high-quality advice is provided through efficient HR query management with timely resolution of issues and casesEnsuring timely escalations of all issues (via escalation or handover) to other relevant Service Lines, HR or third partiesDelivering a positive customer experience through efficient evaluation, closure and/or escalation of payroll and benefit queries and advicePlease note - this role is on a rotating roster that will include weekend workAbout You | MouThis role would suit someone with solid customer service experience with an interest or entry level experience in the HR field, who is a solid team player. Experience within a payroll setting would be advantageous but not required. Awareness of NZ Legislation and understanding the contractual obligations under different employment Agreements is desirable, but not essential.You will need to be confident using theGoogle suite and demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills.
