About the roleAs a Time & Attendance (T&A) Business Analyst, you will act as an interface between the NZ Payroll team as part of our Finance, Strategy and Performance Unit and other Fletcher Building Business Units or departments to deliver Time and Attendance support which will enable operational efficiencies to people managers, business units and payroll processes.
By standardising and improving T&A and payroll operating practices across business units in line with best practicesThe role will see you working with internal customers to understand their business requirements aligning with payroll processes.
You will provide proactive support and improvements to business units T&A sites and people to optimize and maintain accurate and compliant inputs to payroll.
Ensure documentation of process or system changes.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers to understand operational issues, provide support to the project team through to final implementation.About YouTo be successful in this role you will need to have SME experience or similar.
You will have a solid understanding of T&A and payroll systems including configuration and experience in a support role would be beneficial.
Your excellent communication skills with a high-level accuracy and attention to detail is a MUST.You are a pro-active problem solver that enjoys new process implementations as well as trouble shooting and managing queries which could include system integration checks, managing tickets from ServiceNow, new roster and payroll set ups, exception reporting, leave queries, configuration support, ensuring back-end support tables are up to date as per payroll rules.
A continuous improvement mindset to identify and implement process and system improvements to benefit end users is essential.Previous experience on Chris21 and Workforce Software (WFS) is highly advantageous but not essential.
Proficient with Microsoft MS Word and Excel is required.Next stepsThis is a great opportunity to work in a supportive team environment.
