Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

Are you a payroll ninja? We have a fantastic permanent role within our high performing payroll team. You'll play a critical role in managing the end-to-end payroll process as well as delivering an exceptional internal customer experience to colleagues, responding to questions and queries.

This is a busy role within a large and complex organisation, with a fortnightly payroll for around 1,800 employees. You will need to have the ability to thrive in a busy environment whilst maintaining accuracy under pressure.

Na tau rourou | What will you bring?

As an experienced specialist you will bring:

A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience

Five years' experience in payroll, preferably using SAP within a large and complex setting

Experience in the use of MS applications with a strong background in Excel

A good understanding and knowledge of employment and holidays legislation, PAYE, ACC and parental leave

In addition, you will need excellent interpersonal and customer service skills coupled with the ability to prioritise and address queries promptly and clearly.
