This involves accurate and timely processing of payroll data, processing payroll runs, checking payroll reports and assisting in managing customer enquiries from the wider People and Culture team, staff, and agencies.You will have excellent relationship building and prioritisation skills to connect and engage with stakeholders across the organisation, to assist in achieving payroll deliverables within the agreed timeframes. Couple this with your general payroll administration knowledge to support onboarding and inducting new payroll members while equally ensuring that all other service priorities are met.You'll need to manually interpret, implement and reconcile legislation and Collective queries and be able to apply retrospective collective and act/legislative changes to ensure compliance and ensure case resolution. Strong communication is key in this role in order to provide comprehensive and fit for purpose feedback to managers and employees.Intermediate knowledge and skills in using Microsoft applicationsComputer literate with experience using online resources/toolsPrevious clerical / administrative experienceProven organisational skills and a strong attention to detailPrevious experience using payroll softwareSound understanding of the Holidays Act 2003 and any other Acts relevant to payroll i.e., Parental Leave Act, KiwiSaver Act, Wages Protection Act Employment Relations ActA commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
