Working as a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees across three countries. You will work closely with the Finance and People, Performance & Culture team to ensure prompt and accurate services are delivered. To ensure the integrity of the payroll function you will also be required to produce regular reporting as required.
About the role:
Payroll preparation for the group's Australian, New Zealand and Fijian entities.
Assisting with the preparation of annual salary budgets and annualised salaries.
Fiji tax and superannuation compliance.
Maintaining the Micropay and ConnX payroll systems.
Assisting with financial statement audits and ISO audits.
What you'll bring:
Experience in a high-volume payroll administration role – 1000 FTE.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and workplace policy regarding Awards, wage payments and associated allowances/penalties.
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software, specifically MS Excel.
Experience processing payroll in International currencies.
