About the role: You will work as part of a small team providing support to our Payroll Manager and managing the end-to-end payroll process for our Australian & New Zealand companies across multiple pay groups using multiple payroll software's.In this role, you will also work closely with the People Operations Team and our business units, to receive and update employment documentation for payroll processing.Some of your other key responsibilities will be to
Ensure compliance with payroll-related legislations – e.g., Australian Fair Work Act and relevant Awards, NZ Holidays Act, and collective agreementsOwn payroll processes, including timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees and identifying process improvementsContribute to the functioning of a high performing team through providing back up and support to colleagues, collaborating and sharing knowledgeEnsure all inquiries are handled efficiently and resolved within a timely manner while always delivering a high quality of service.About you: Ideally, you will have demonstrated experience in an Australian & New Zealand payroll positions and have a good understanding of Australia and NZ employment legislation (awards, long service leave, termination pay etc.) within a fast paced, growth environment.You must also have proven experience in interpreting and applying the industrial instruments.
