You will autonomously process and be responsible for assigned payrolls and associated invoicing in an end to end manner, contribute to the wider team of the Processing Centre as required, and deal with all payroll queries relating to the assigned payroll areas.
Processing timesheets, ensuring that hours do not exceed client eligibility and that timesheets are processed accurately
Creating the direct credit schedule and sending it to the bank using PC Banking
Adding new employees to payroll ensuring all information is entered correctly
Updating and maintaining holiday and sick pay records
Processing various requests for earnings details (WINZ, IRD, ACC etc.)
Filing all payroll records in employee files
Answering all payroll-related queries for the assigned areas, including holiday pay calculation queries and timesheet inquiries
This role is a full-time Fixed Term position based in Palmerston North until August 2025.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
