Company:        H P Hanna Ltd Location:          Addington, Christchurch City Type:                Part-Time, permanent (could move to full-time in the future) Job Title:         Payroll Administrator & Bookkeeper Are you a person who has experience working with and managing Payroll and Bookkeeping Services for 20+ small to medium sized businesses?Do you want to develop your career in a growing, innovative chartered accountancy practice?This part time role will be for 25-30 hours per week over 5 days per weekHours to be discussed and confirmedThis may move to a full-time role in the futureWork is based at our office in Addington, Christchurch but we may consider some flexibility around the work space If so, contact us today.
The role includes, but is not limited to: Payroll Services:Processing weekly and fortnightly payroll for 20+ clients (small to medium sized businesses)Advising clients on payroll related questions (including Holidays Act 2003)Bookkeeping Services:Accounts ReceivableAccounts PayableBank ReconciliationsMonthly ReportsAssist in preparing financial reports and GST returnsCommunicate with clients to understand and address their bookkeeping needsWork closely with our team to deliver top-tier service and resultsFiling and record keeping About you: You are self-motivated, having the ability to work to deadlines, in a sometimes-pressured environment.You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in New Zealand payroll administrationYou have strong oral and written communication skills with a client-centric mindsetYou have strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyYou work well on your own and with othersYou are highly organised and are able to multi-taskYou are able to create and maintain efficient systems in the payroll and bookkeeping areaYou enjoy meeting clients and assisting the teamProficiency using XERO, Smartly (or other payroll software), Word and Excel About us: We have been providing accounting and business advisory services to Canterbury businesses for more than 50 years.
