Position: Paving Operations Supervisor The Paving Operations Supervisor is responsible for the effective management of multiple paving crews and equipment to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of paving works. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a thorough understanding of paving operations.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a safe work environment for all employees, subcontractors, and the public. Co-ordinate resources to safely and efficiently complete planned work. Supervise projects in a profitable and efficient manner and to the highest quality standard. Provide onsite leadership to the paving crew. Provide effective service delivery and interaction with customers and stakeholders. Encourage the growth, mentorship, and development of teams and crews. Benefits: Company vehicle. Qualifications: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals. Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a focus on prioritization and problem-solving. Sound knowledge of paving techniques, materials, and equipment. Proficiency in safety regulations and procedures related to paving operations. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels. Relevant certifications or licenses may be required. Ability to work in outdoor environments and withstand exposure to varying weather conditions. Capable of lifting heavy objects and operating equipment as needed. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
