About the Role: As our Partnerships & Corporate Sales Lead, you will take charge of driving revenue through partnerships and sponsorships for the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Harness Racing season, event and function sales, and growing our Off The Track food and beverage catering business.
Develop and execute strategies to identify new partnership and sponsorship opportunities.Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by generating leads and nurturing relationships.Create compelling proposals for potential sponsors and partners.Collaborate with our Events and Hospitality teams to ensure smooth handover and flawless execution.Represent Cambridge Raceway at race meetings, events, hosting clients and sponsors with top-tier service.Keep accurate and up to date CRM records, and provide monthly reports on sales activity, pipeline, and performance.The Details: Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week—plenty of variety and excitement!Location: Cambridge RacewayRemuneration: Competitive salary, with flexibility for the right candidate.Start Date: Let's talk—ready when you are!Who You'll Work With: Internally: Cambridge Raceway staff, tenants, and the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Harness Board.Externally: Corporate sponsors, event clients, industry partners, and suppliers.What We're Looking For: A marketing or communications qualification (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in sales and relationship management.A self-starter with an innovative approach to generating leads.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver outstanding customer service.Proficiency with Xero and the MS Office Suite.A confident and outgoing personality, with strong written and verbal communication skills.A professional attitude with the ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple priorities.Why This Role?
