Office and Administrative Support Worker Crown Law provides legal advice and representation to the Government in matters that affect everyone in Aotearoa New Zealand. Our mahi ranges from the enforcement of criminal law and protection of the revenue, to matters involving human rights and te Tiriti o Waitangi/the Treaty of Waitangi. Our counsel appear at all levels of court in Aotearoa, from the Supreme Court through to the District Court and various tribunals. The Discovery Support Team provides support services, using case and document management systems, to legal counsel engaged in litigation and other matters on behalf of clients. We are seeking two students interested in working on a part-time basis in the Discovery Support Team. Hours are dependent on your course load, but can be between 10 to 15 hours per week. First or second year law students are preferred but other relevant experience will be considered. Responsibilities will include: Data coding documents into an electronic litigation support system; We require someone who has exceptional computer skills, is meticulous and will work well in a busy team environment. This role is Wellington based and located next to Wellington bus and train station. You will also receive: Remuneration and Benefits: The hourly rate for this role is $27.80 per hour. An annual flexi payment (pro rated); An annual wellness payment (pro rated); Funding for professional memberships and study; 4 weeks annual leave (pro-rated) plus 3 additional leave days (Crown Law days); Opportunities for development and growth across Crown Law.
