Part-time Cleaner Waitakere Hospital Salary: $23.75 per hour (penal rates may apply to some shifts) Hours: Monday to Friday, 12pm to 4pm The contribution our Cleaners make is integral to maintaining a safe & hygienic environment for our patients, their whanau, and our staff.
As a Cleaner, you will do something you can be proud of every day as you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone within our hospital.
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team on a part-time basis.
We are looking for someone with the below skills & attributes:
Excellent customer service skills Good command of verbal and written English Respectful and courteous towards patients and colleagues Reliable and available to pick up shifts at short notice Motivated to engage in mandatory staff training sessions (may include operating floor care machinery) Ability to follow duty lists and safety protocols as well as instructions for specialised cleaning equipment Flexible and able to adapt to unexpected changes within the busy hospital environment Our Cleaners are offered the opportunity to enrol in NZQA Level 3 qualifications within 12 months of employment.
