The position:

Part time - 7.30am to 4pm, 3 days per week. Preferably a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with the flexibility to work full time when needed
Preparing and cooking vegetarian meals for approximately 110 tamariki each day
Ability to cater for dietary/allergy requirements is essential for this role
Responsible for ordering, and working within a budget
NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a pre-requisite
Kindercare police vet all potential employees

An experienced Cook who is:

Competent in preparing, cooking and serving food that follows our recipes
Committed to the highest standards of cleanliness, and adhering to our policies and procedures
A cheerful multi-tasker, with excellent time-management skills
Willing to take care of some cleaning and laundry tasks
A clear communicator who values the importance of team work
