Hashtag Tax Solutions Limited is a small, client-focused accounting practice, providing tailored services to small business clients. We're looking for a part-time accountant with a solid background in accounting software, particularly Xero, and strong Excel skills. This role involves supporting our team by handling a variety of accounting tasks for our small business clients.
Role and Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate financial reports for clients
Complete GST returns and manage other tax obligations
Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Perform reconciliations, manage accounts, and update client records
Utilize Xero and Excel for efficient data management and reporting
Assist with general business and accounting tasks as needed

Requirements:

Proficiency in Xero and Excel
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, GST, and payroll
Experience with accounting software and business tax compliance
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail
Good communication skills and a commitment to high standards of service
