A brief Introduction.....
Vibright are excited to be partnering with an ambitious wealth management business. They are a trusted partner to thousands of clients across the UK and are excited to be growing their existing Paraplanner team. They need a talented and experienced Paraplanner to join their Newton Abbot based team.

What will you be doing?

This is a classic paraplanner role, which will see you support a number of advisors across the group. Here is a little snapshot of your everyday duties & responsibilities:

Receiving instructions during debriefings from advisers following client meetings.

Interpreting data obtained by advisers during client meetings.

Analysing data and using research tools to provide solutions to meet client needs and objectives.

Providing records to support research undertaken.

Liaise with the technical & compliance team when uncertain / guidance required.

Consolidation of client needs and objectives, together with the recommendations and course of action in a written format via a suitability letter, client specific illustration and key features document.

Liaise with the Technical team on structure and development of the Suitability Report Templates and attachments to the reports.

Load cases onto relevant platforms in a suitable manner and fully debrief administrator and consultant along the way.

Carrying out all tasks in a manner consistent with compliance procedures and company process.

Ensuring all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis.

Ensure that significant risk issues are referred to the Head of Compliance where appropriate.

Make a constructive contribution to the continuing development of the team and the business as a whole.

Proactively enhance industry knowledge, through external and internal sources.

What we need from you....A bit about you….

You will ideally hold your Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, with experience within a similar role.

You will enjoy and thrive working in a high performance and results driven environment.

You have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

You are an MS office whizz.

You are detail-oriented, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks with a proactive approach. You demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in everything you do.

Attention to detail with an ability to analyse complex financial information.

Demonstrate practical awareness and knowledge of retail financial products and current regulatory expectations.

You may have ambitions to progress longer term into an Advisor position, this would be supported by our client, as does the option of remaining as career Paraplanner!

£35,000 - £45,000 base salary (D.O.E)

Pension – 3% of salary

Death in Service – 2 x salary

4% Bonus – based on performance & company profitability

Holiday – 25 days plus bank holidays (ability to purchase 5 more per year, after two years' service)

Continued Career development - Support through relevant qualifications!

Hybrid working - 3 days on site, two days remote
