Hourly Rate: $26.69 - $29.66
To be right for this role and our organization, you need:
Minimum 3 years painter relevant experience or a Level 4 or above relevant qualification in trades.
Ability to work under pressure on a busy construction site.
Strong commitment to safe work practices.
Be hard-working, reliable, and motivated.
Able to work on weekends and work overtime.
Flexible to meet the early morning and late night shifts.
Physically fit in any conditions - hot, cold, dusty, indoors or outdoors.
Long-term, full-time commitments needed.
Able to pass a police check.
Key tasks & responsibilities:
Corporate daily tasks with team members to ensure workflows meet site requirements.
Ensuring daily painting job tasks are completed with high-quality standards.
Preparing and organizing painting materials and tools needed for projects.
Carry out the painter duties as required, such as preparation before painting, mixing painting colours, painting with a high standard, etc.
Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays.
Ensuring the project is delivered in a timely manner.
Ensuring you comply with the company's Healthy and Safety system to maintain a safe working environment.
Familiar with all painting tools and able to apply paint on required areas perfectly.
