This is an exciting opportunity to apply for the position of Paediatric Registrar for next year commencing in February and/or August 2025. The Paediatric Department offers supportive working conditions and is committed to excellent teaching.
About us:
Hawke's Bay Hospital is a 364 bed hospital providing acute and elective care for the Hawke's Bay region. In addition to psychiatry, we have a busy Emergency Department, most major medical and surgical subspecialties on site (except cardiothoracic and neurosurgery), as well as paediatrics and O&G. We are well supported by a strong regional ICU team. We have extensive Primary and Community health services and an increasingly integrated approach to health and health care.
About our team:
The 5 Paediatric Registrars work as a team with 5 House Officers and 9 Specialist Consultants. The 10 RMO's share a combined roster, covering all acute areas including the Children's Ward, Level 2A Special Care Baby Unit and Delivery Suite. This role also includes significant supervised Outpatient Clinic experience.

Suitable for Resident Medical Officers who will be PGY3 or above.Qualification and experience step alignment with the NZRDA or STONZ SECA.Benefits:
