First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers About the Role Provide packaging supplies to packing teams to ensure efficient packing operations.
Liaise with Inwards Goods team for timely delivery of packaging needed.
Ensure traceability of waste packaging is recorded.
Escalate any issues regarding defects to the Shift Manager.
Ensure packaging traceability is maintained using Rockit systems.
Undertake regular packaging stocktakes to ensure correct packaging is on-site.
Liaise with Techs to ensure packaging changeovers are completed correctly and efficiently.
Skills & Experience Required Experience in a packhouse or food manufacturing environment desirable Knowledge of dispatch processes Experience training and/or supervising others Accurate and efficient Be physically fit and healthy, able to work on your feet all day.
Be reliable and conscientious.
Able to follow and carry out documented work instructions.
Reliable and can work unsupervised.
Available to work up to six days per week, usually Monday to Saturday during the peak months at the start of the season.
Prepared to work to meet production deadlines.
Co-operative and works well in a team.
You must be legally able to work in New Zealand and be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
