Description sKids is looking for a passionate and energetic Programme Assistant to join one of our sKids programme sites in Westmere!

You will,
Supervise and assist children in programme activities e.g. art and craft, sport, games, offsite visits and activities (swimming, walks, picnics, movies), baking/cooking, drama and music.
Ensure that the working environment is kept clean, tidy, hygienic and safe for all children, staff, parents and visitors to the programme at all times.
Liaise with Programme Manager, parents and guardians as necessary in a timely manner to ensure open and timely communication.
Assist the Programme Manager as required to run the daily format as scheduled as per duties outlined on the task list.
Participate in all staff training including but not limited to induction training, first aid, behaviour management, health and safety, child abuse awareness and risk management.
Report back to the Programme Manager with any concerns regarding a child or behaviour issues etc.
Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday: Stay and Play hours between 2.45pm to 6pm as rostered .
Possible shifts available in our Holiday Programmes.
Location: Westmere
To be successful for this role you will,
Hold a valid visa to work in New Zealand without restrictions
Be able to commute to the site above.
Have keen interest to work in similar industries
Have previous experience working with children, it can be from babysitting or any volunteered experience.
