We are an integrated Y7-13 Catholic secondary school located in Masterton, which has established a reputation for student engagement, innovation and success. We are an inclusive school and work hard to ensure neuro-divergent students thrive within our learning environment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, patient and empathetic teacher to join our learning support team. You will be working with a team of experienced teachers, teacher aides and specialists.
The key aspects of the role include:
Developing IEPs
Adapting learning programmes
Supporting the planning of literacy, numeracy and life skills programmes
Following students' interests to create engaging and motivating programmes that are individualised for their needs
Collaborating with classroom teachers to deliver accessible programmes to learners with additional needs
This may include programmes within Chanel classes or within the community.
You must be willing and able to support our Special Catholic Character.
This is a part-time (0.4), permanent position that is suitable for primary or secondary teachers.
The position will commence on 28 January 2025.
