Our Orderlies support patient care by safely moving patients and items around the hospital at the right time, to the right place, in a courteous, professional and well-presented manner, contributing to the effective day-to-day operation of Orderly Services at Wairau Hospital.
We have a casual position available to cover illness, holidays and additional shifts requested for areas in Security and Orderly.

You will be an excellent communicator who is passionate about delivering a quality service. You will be efficient and able to manage your time effectively. A clean driver - s licence is essential.
Due to the nature of the work you must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. It is essential that you are physically fit and active with knowledge of heaving lifting techniques.
Hotel / Porter / Orderly or Security worker experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
