Full-time – permanent: commencing January 2025Are you interested in orchestral music and have exceptional leadership skills and experience in the performing arts?We are looking for an experienced manager to take over the position of Orchestra Manager at Auckland Philharmonia, New Zealand's professional city-based orchestra.The Orchestra Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of the orchestra in all Auckland Philharmonia events throughout the year.The role works closely alongside the Director of Operations, the Director of Artistic Planning, Auckland Philharmonia Music Director, Auckland Philharmonia musicians, and many Auckland Philharmonia staff members. This role is an integral part of running the orchestra to ensure there are musicians on stage each week.To be successful in this role, you will need:A strong knowledge and experience in the running of an orchestraStrong communication skillsAdvanced administrative skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsThe ability to work well both autonomously and within a teamThe ability to remain level-headed under pressureA passion for your workWhy you?Being an Auckland Philharmonia employee is about more than excellence in your chosen field.
