Oral Health Therapist/Dental Hygienist | WhanganuiStep into the beautiful Whanganui, where our experienced and close-knit team have been dedicated to ensuring the wider community receives the best dental care. We are looking for a passionate Oral Health Therapist to join us for 3 days a week.
Role As one of our Oral Health Therapist or Hygienists, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the oral health well-being of our community. You will be responsible for providing top-notch hygiene services and education around oral health, as well as promoting preventative care.
2-days a week role, Thursday & Friday availableCompetitive compensation based on experience - either commission-based or hourly rate can be discussedRelocation fee on offer (T&Cs apply)The Location Experience the unique charm of Whanganui, which sits on the West Coast of the lower North Island. At the end of the Whanganui River, it features picture-perfect heritage buildings, world-class museums, beautiful gardens, and stunning mountains - Mt Taranaki & Mt Ruapehu. Our practice is located on Wicksteed Street in the heart of the township.
You'll fit easily into our practice if you have:
At least one year of hygiene experience in a private practiceOutstanding communication skills for patient education and rapport-buildingA natural team spirit and a genuine interest in contributing to the warmth of the teamExceptional attention to detail in all aspects of clinical practiceTo be successful in the role you will need to hold registration with the New Zealand Dental Council (NZDA) as well as a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
