Job Description
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team based in Greymouth. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the efficient ongoing operation of the site fleet including run efficiencies, maintenance, cost oversight and management of your team.

Key responsibilities will include:

Supervise operations and be accountable for the performance of day-to-day operational activities.

Forecast and schedule future requirements and workload.

Undertake compliance requirements.

Prepare work rosters and allocate employees to their roster daily ensuring optimal priorities are communicated and understood.

Conduct toolbox talks with direct reports.

Work with other stakeholders to achieve excellence in all dealings with customers.

Responsible for ensuring the productivity, safety, and work quality of work groups in their area of responsibility.

Driving trucks daily, therefore you will require a Class 2 Drivers License.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have relevant transport experience ideally having worked in a fleet logistics environment. You will have a Class 2 license. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills as well as an excellent focus on safety are crucial for the role.
