Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeWe are seeking a well-rounded, energetic, adaptable and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Operations team leading our Business Solutions or Rear Load division. You will be someone who has logistics, transport and operational experience working with both internal and external customers and have the nous to work with drivers as well. Trucks, routing and operations will be familiar to you, and you will flourish in a fast-paced environment.You will need to have effective communication skills combined with proven strong and positive supervisory skills while providing outstanding leadership and coaching to a small team of operations coordinators. As part of your role, you will be comfortable monitoring drivers' daily tasks; route optimisation; overseeing efficiency of operational processes; analysing and reporting and managing costs. The Operations Supervisor will also be comfortable developing and managing processes and procedures for all tasks.Our ideal candidate will have the following:Relevant qualification in Business, Logistics or related field will be an advantage.3 - 5 years' experience in operations and/or the transport industry.Proven previous Supervisor/People management experience in a similar field or environment.Self-motivated and works to strict deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication is a must.Strong relationship builder and team player.Class 2 licence will be an advantage.This is a fantastic opportunity to work for Green Gorilla – a highly successful independent recycling and waste company that sets the trends of waste services in our country.
