Operations Manager

About the role We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. This is a part-time role for a registered charity and is based in our Wellington CBD premises. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our administrative functions and supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of our organisation. What you'll be doing Providing effective administration and program support Managing the coordination and overview of activities and commitments, planning and follow up of actions Fundraising - organising of fundraising activities, submission of grant applications Database management and ensuring there is an effective toolset to support operations. Providing executive support to the Chairperson and other senior leaders Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures and legal/regulatory requirements Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency Assisting with human resources and payroll administration as needed. What we're looking for Experience in office management or a relevant operations role, ideally within the non-profit or community sector Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff, members and external stakeholders Proficient in the use of office software and technology Knowledge of non-profit governance and administration, including budgeting and compliance Commitment to the mission and values of the charity.
