In this role, you will manage a small team of around 12 people, ensuring the manufacturing process is streamlined.
This includes:Maintaining and continuously improving high manufacturing standards and efficiency.Meeting manufacturing and operational targets.Using problem-solving skills to diagnose, create efficiencies, and overcome issues.Upholding company values.Ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements.You will be responsible for ensuring that aluminium joinery is manufactured on time and to a high standard while meeting customer expectations.
Experience with LEAN manufacturing and process improvement would be advantageous.Strong problem-solving skills are essential to diagnose and overcome issues, meet deadlines, and maintain positive customer relationships while fostering a positive team environment.As a leader, you will support, guide, and mentor staff, aligning them with company goals and strategic visions.
A proven track record in managing multiple projects in a factory environment and credibility in the building industry is required.Relevant qualifications or a proven track record in the building or related industry is necessary.
Familiarity with NZ building codes and regulations is an advantage, and experience in the aluminium or windows and doors sector is preferred, although applications from true leaders in other manufacturing environments will be considered.Success in this role requires excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective delegation.
