Are you passionate about keeping traffic flowing smoothly and ensuring the safety of our community? We are excited to announce an opening for a Traffic Management Officers! In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our road networks.
Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze traffic flow patterns.
Create and maintain accurate records of traffic incidents.
Provide assistance and direction to the public during traffic disruptions or incidents.
Asssit with set up and take down of traffic work sites.
Assist with ease of flow of traffic.
Have a health and safety mindset when on site.
Engage with the public in a positive and friendly approach.

Requirements


Proven experience in traffic management or a related field is preferred however not required.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with the public.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
Role will require you to work in all weather conditions and a physical role.
Familiarity with traffic management and confident in using a radio.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Also on a very casual on-call basis with short notice day/night.
Hold a vaild TTM/TC certification.
Must be NZ resident or entitled to work in NZ.
Must pass a drug screen and clear MOJ.
