Position: Operations Manager
Company: Harker Herbals
Location: Hawkes Bay, New Zealand
Employment Type: Full time
Harker Herbals is a well-known and highly respected NZ manufacturer of liquid herbal supplements, made right here in Hawkes Bay. Reporting to their Auckland based CEO, this role will see you across all operational aspects of their Hawkes Bay site.
You will thrive in this operations leadership role if you have expertise spanning manufacturing, production, procurement, logistics, and warehousing. Relatability to quality control, knowledge of GMP, and manufacturing best practices will see you right at home here. The crew here across this site are focused and well across their roles; your job will be to take the teams and this site to the next level of performance.
You will oversee daily operations and collaborate and provide support and structure across the teams to ensure effective resource allocation and planning, continued efficiency gains, and development and growth of both plant and people.
This business is in an exciting phase of growth as it enters new export markets, and they need a hands-on leader who is expert and right at home in production and manufacturing. Exposure to pharmaceutical or herbal manufacturing would be highly regarded, although not essential. Either way, you must be an operations leader who enjoys being across the floor each and every day, driving efficiency, and ensuring optimisation across all aspects of the site.
If you have the expertise and people skills required, and you are ready to take the next step in your manufacturing and logistics career, then we would love to hear from you. Please apply directly through this portal and be sure to include a resume and cover letter.
