About the company Clarksons is a family owned and operated business with branches throughout New Zealand The company prides itself with their great reputation of being Your Total Support backed by quick response 24 7 maintenance repairs and installation About the role We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage our Fuels maintenance and installation business We currently maintain approximately 200 fuels locations from Northland to Invercargill and are looking for an experienced and passionate manager to drive this growing area of business Reporting to the General Manager the role will oversee the fuels business from day to day maintenance through to installation projects managing client expectations and a growing team of Supervisors and Technicians The role has a wide range of responsibilities including HSE management Customer relationships Leadership Workflow management Managing financial budgets and KPIs Pricing and Tenders Operational Efficiency and facilitating ongoing learning and development of the team Key responsibilities Effectively leading managing and motivating staff to deliver outstanding customer service to our customers Driving continuous process improvement and business growth Ensuring ongoing development training and succession planning for staff Managing financial budgets and KPIs Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders including clients subcontractors and colleagues Skills Experience The successful candidate will look after the day to day operations whilst managing safe working practices and profitability having Technical experience managing Projects and Service in the Oil and Gas sector Customer Focus with a passion for delivering excellence HSE Focus and passion with the ability to lead by example A proactive adaptable and results driven approach with strong leadership skills Strong organisational abilities accountable and responsible for decisions and commitments Communication skills able to express ideas clearly and effectively to clients colleagues and contractors Benefits Culture An attractive salary package inc vehicle and bonus provided Flexible working environment in a growing and diverse company Opportunity for development promotion and growth within the company To express your interest in this role apply now via SEEK with your resume attached
