About the role We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Coordinator to join our team at Laser Electrical Riccarton in Christchurch.
In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of our busy office and supporting our operations across the business.
What you'll be doing Coordinate daily office operations, including scheduling jobs to site workers, ordering materials, doing power applications & arranging inspections.Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutesAssist with managing materials and resources for larger projects.Required to have a major role in the development and maintenance of Health & Safety procedures.Contribute to the development and implementation of office policies and proceduresHelp with the onboarding of new employees and coordinate training and development activitiesIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivityWhat we're looking for Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar operations or administrative role, preferably within the electrical or construction industry.Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectivelyStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approachProficient in the use of Simpro or similar jobbing softwareA proactive and problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvementFlexible and adaptable, able to work well under pressure and unpredictable situationsWhat we offer Competitive salary and health insuranceOpportunities for professional development and career progressionComprehensive training and support to help you succeed in the roleA positive, collaborative, and inclusive work cultureGood discounts on a variety of electrical & industry itemsAbout us Laser Electrical Riccarton is a leading provider of electrical services in the Canterbury region.
