Office Management (Administration & Office Support)
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Coordinator to join our team at Laser Electrical Riccarton in Christchurch. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of our busy office and supporting our operations across the business.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate daily office operations, including scheduling jobs to site workers, ordering materials, doing power applications & arranging inspections.
Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
Assist with managing materials and resources for larger projects.
Required to have a major role in the development and maintenance of Health & Safety procedures.
Contribute to the development and implementation of office policies and procedures.
Help with the onboarding of new employees and coordinate training and development activities.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar operations or administrative role, preferably within the electrical or construction industry.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Proficient in the use of Simpro or similar jobbing software.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Flexible and adaptable, able to work well under pressure and in unpredictable situations.
