Job Description: Operations assistant Position Overview: As a Operations assistant for Shallot Hospitality, you will serve as a brand ambassador for our diverse range of brands, including Bad Rabbit, LittleWolf, Cote, and Folio Hire. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of orders while providing exceptional service. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager of Operations, Warehouse Manager, and Corporate Catering & Sales Manager to uphold our high standards of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Order Preparation: Follow Folio picking and packing processes to prepare orders for delivery or collection, ensuring accuracy by checking each item against packing slips.Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload hire equipment at the Folio warehouse and client venues, ensuring efficient vehicle packing to prevent damage.Equipment Management: Ensure that equipment is returned to its designated storage areas, packed, labelled appropriately, and stocked as directed by the Operations Manager.Delivery Execution: Deliver food to corporate catering clients in company vehicles, adhering to the catering dispatch procedure:Check the delivery schedule and communicate proactively with management to pre-empt potential issues.Ensure accurate labelling of food items and boxes.Prepare dipping sauces, napkins, client welcome packs, and marketing materials.Execute special instructions on packing slips and production schedules.Client Relations: Build and maintain friendly and professional relationships with clients, learning about their businesses to identify additional service opportunities.Team Support: Assist fellow drivers in following operational systems and procedures, ensuring a cohesive team effort.Tea & Coffee Setup: Provide setup for tea and coffee for catering clients when required and assist clients in unwrapping and arranging food as needed.Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe driving record, free of violations, and communicate effectively with the Corporate Catering & Office Coordinator or Sales Manager during deliveries.Customer Feedback: Enhance customer satisfaction by collecting feedback on services and relaying this information back to relevant team members.Fleet Maintenance: Assist with the weekly cleaning of company vehicles and perform any additional duties as assigned by the General Manager of Operations or Corporate Catering team.Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.Experience in delivery or hospitality preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Join us in delivering exceptional service and representing Shallot Hospitality's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction!
